About The Wish Tank
The Wish Tank, dedicated to writing strongly-worded letters to all the different people and organizations that so desperately need a dose of diction, is a kind of large scale letter writing campaign organized and put into motion by the people of RE:. We encourage you to write your own strongly-worded letter and e-mail us a copy, we'll post it here. In the event that you receive a reply, strongly-worded or not, send that our way too. E-mail all strongly-worded letters to re.word.artists@gmail.com in regards to The Wish Tank. And, please keep in mind that for a letter to be strongly-worded does not necessarily require that it also be negative. Now, I hope you don't mind, if here at The Wish Tank, we ask you to please take it easy?

RE: is for play, serious and otherwise.
Created and maintained as a collective, its efforts are in support of significant work - textual, visual, or both. Work that is often marginalized or ignored outright by established institutions.
Our ongoing projects include The Awkward Alligator, the Excerpts page, The Wish Tank, and several pieces of mail art. Each is unique in the expression and experimentation it affords. Experimentation in image, language, context, and culture.
Originality but also accessibility are essential to the discourse and community support we hope to create. The ability to do good work worth the risk and show decency towards others in their work are the only conditions for contribution.
